About the Founder and CEO

Roeshana Moore-Evans is the Founder and CEO of Equity Empowerment. Throughout her career, she has partnered with some of the brightest minds—from world-renowned scholars and scientists to high-powered executives—playing a pivotal role in turning big ideas into actionable, solution-driven, equitable outcomes. Roeshana has been instrumental in bringing large-scale projects to fruition, from creating company-wide onboarding programs to transforming business models, and guiding institutions as they address historical harms and advance equity-driven solutions. Her superpower lies in building strong relationships and connecting people with each other and the resources they need to drive meaningful, lasting change.

Growing up in Boston, Roeshana’s commitment to community and justice was shaped by her personal experiences and education, fueling her dedication to empowering others through her work. She holds both a Bachelor's degree and an MBA from UMass Boston, where she developed her expertise in business management and equity-centered strategies—tools she now uses to create real-world, equitable solutions for her clients.
